Jo Mitchell Long is a contemporary British artist creating expressive paintings of tablescapes and landscapes. Working with a distinctive approach to colour, form and composition, her paintings explore the relationship between familiar subjects and the atmosphere they evoke.
From everyday objects gathered around a table to the changing character of the landscape, her work brings together bold graphic elements, gestural marks and a strong sense of place. Each painting balances observation with interpretation, capturing moments of colour, connection and everyday life.
Jo has exhibited in London and beyond, including Affordable Art Fair Hampstead in 2026, and regularly welcomes visitors to her studio during Wimbledon Art Fair.
